Peter Huppertz is a specialist lawyer for IT law and has been working almost exclusively on legal issues relating to information technology since 1998.
His consulting activities include the support of transactions in the IT area as well as the legal project management of complex license, e-commerce and IT projects (especially IT outsourcing). Further service areas of his are data protection, software licensing law, including open source software, and disputed IT law (software defect and software infringement lawsuits). Peter Huppertz publishes regularly and appears as a speaker at specialist events. He is a lecturer in IT law at the German Lawyers Academy. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw) and a member of the Information Law Committee of the German Bar Association.
