Collection of personal data when you visit our website

When using the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you have expressly consented according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a DSGVO, we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletters on a regular basis. To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide an e-mail address. The indication of further, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally.

You can unsubscribe at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you are welcome to send your unsubscription request at any time to duesseldorf@hoffmannliebs.de by e-mail.

If you have given your consent, we will evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter. For this analysis, the e-mails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which represent single-pixel image files stored on our website. We link the data collected automatically when you visit our website (see “Collection of personal data when you visit our website” above) and the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID. With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. We record when you read our newsletters, which links you click on in them and deduce your personal interests. We link this data to actions taken by you on our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DS-GMO.

You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in each e-mail or by informing us of another contact method. The information is stored for as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter. After a cancellation we store the data purely statistically and anonymously.

If you have any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using the form provided on the website. A valid e-mail address is required so that we know who sent the request and can respond to it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

The data will be processed for the purpose of contacting us in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of your voluntary consent.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been processed.

We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

This website uses etracker technology (http://www.etracker.com) to collect and store data for marketing and optimisation purposes. These data can be used to create user profiles under a pseudonym. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the visitor’s Internet browser. The cookies enable the recognition of the Internet browser. The data collected with eTracker technologies will not be used to personally identify the visitor to this website and will not be combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without the separately given consent of the person concerned.
